Dr. Kizza besigye and Hajji Obedi Lutale have refused to change their lawyers as requested by the presiding judge Emmanuel Baguma.

In a letter to Judge Baguma, they said EriasLukwago and Kenyan MarthaKarua are still their lawyers as their prison conditions do not allow them to choose from among lawyers to find suitable lawyers to represent them.

They were ordered to change their lawyers after their former chief lawyer, Martha Karua, was denied re-entry into Uganda while Erias Lukwago is currently in custody.
