273 Ugandans were the first to be repatriated from SouthAfrica – in preparation for its citizens who deported foreigners

The first batch of Ugandans 273, from South African arrived in Uganda, late last night, 03 July,2026, in preparation for the violence of South Africans who have deported foreigners from their country.

South Africans have taken to the streets to expel all foreigners from their country, and had set a deadline of 30 June,2026 for all foreigners to leave the country.

Among the repatriates are 18 children and 255 adults.

A total of 1,200 Ugandans have registered to be repatriated, and more than 800 are expected to be repatriated by the end of the week.

The delegation traveled on a Uganda Airlines flight, and was accompanied by Ugandan Ambassador to South Africa Ambassador Paul Amoru.

It was welcomed at Entebbe airport by Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Haruna Kasolo and other officials.

Ugandan Ambassador to South Africa Ambassador Paul Amoru told Skynewsug.com that arrangements had been made well, with the remaining refugees being kept in four designated places.
