Three people have been arrested in connection with the murder of national rugby player Sydney Gongodyo who was shot dead by people accused of stealing a woman’s bag in Bukoto area of Nakawa Division in Kampala.
Gongodyo was killed on Friday last Saturday in a law enforcement manner and police are still searching for anyone suspected of involvement in the murder.
This was confirmed by Police Spokesperson Rusoke Kituuma at a press conference on Tuesday.
