Two children were killed and three others were taken to hospital for treatment after their mother allegedly stabbed her at Kalungu Zone, Ggaba in Makindye division in Kampala last night and later attempted suicide.
According to the children who survived, their mother herself committed the crime following an argument with their father last Wednesday.
Police are investigating the murder.
