Security forces arrested Congolese nationals who were smuggled back to Kampala.
They were arrested in Pakwach district while traveling in a private vehicle. They allegedly entered the country illegally after the border between Uganda and Congo was closed due to the Ebola outbreak in Congo.
Deputy Presidential Envoy to the region Achile Twaibu said they would be returned to Congo via the Goli border.
