The government has clarified the closure of Nation Media Group including NTV, Daily Monitor and others.
According to Information, Technology and National Guidance Minister JustineLumumba, the order to shut down these channels was issued by President Yoweri Museveni himself for a national security investigation.
Minister Lumumba said the investigation is ongoing by various security agencies and the country will be informed when it is completed.
