KAMPALA, UGANDA — Police have arrested a 41-year-old man suspected of being involved in the murder of Afrigo Band musician Matovu Moses.
The suspect, identified as Nsamba Vincent, was arrested following investigations into the circumstances surrounding the musician’s death, according to Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Racheal Kawala.
Nsamba was apprehended in Ochange Ward, Yesu Amala, Nansana Division, Wakiso District, as police intensified efforts to establish what led to Matovu’s death.
Police said investigations are still ongoing as detectives work to piece together the circumstances of the murder and identify any other people who may have been involved.
Authorities have assured the public that the investigation will continue as they seek to establish the full circumstances surrounding the musician’s death and bring those responsible to justice.
