The suspects in the athlete’s murder have been brought before City Hall Court in Kampala

City Hall Chief Judge Edgar Karakire has remanded four men accused of killing sportsperson Sydney Gongodyo in Luzira until 23rd of this month.
They were not allowed to say anything because the case against them is so serious that it is only being heard in the High Court
Mugwisa Obed, Mondoni Elly, Owino Joseph and Kabugo Henry and others who are still wanted ambushed Gogondyo in Bukoto area of Kampala and beat him to death on suspicion of robbing a woman’s bag.
